Tripolar & Cellulite Reduction

Cellulite is a change in the fat stored under the skin, appearing as dimples or ripples in the skin. It affects most women. In fact, studies have shown that about 80% of women over the age of 18 have some degree of cellulite. Yes, even thin women!

Dimpled or rippling skin, commonly referred to as cottage cheese, is mostly found on the thighs, buttocks and stomach. Focal heating of the fat cells in these specific areas increases the rate at which liquid fat is released from the heated tissue.

Tripolar, exclusively powered by Tri-polar Technology, effectively treats cellulite at the root of the problem. Tripolar's unique configuration selectively heats the fat cells under the skin without adversely affecting the surrounding tissues, therefore increasing the metabolism amd secretion of liquid fat. Tripolar RF Technology simultaneously heats deep and superficial layers of fat, by combining the dual effects of Monopolar RF and Bi-polar RF in one applicator.

How does it work?

Cellulite condition - Accumulation of a large number of enlarged fat cells in the hypodermis. The accumulated fat presses the skin creating the 'cottage cheese skin' effect.

Tripolar RF Technology selectively increases the temperature of fat cells, doing so simultaneously in the deep and superficial layers of fat. This increases metabolism and the release of liquid fat from the fat cells.

After treatment and release of liquid fat, the fat cells shrink in size and the skin is restored more to its original form, reducing or eliminating the cellulite appearance.

How does it work?

As our skin matures and, is continuously subjected to environmental effects, its connective tissue begins to break down, causing wrinkles and other signs of ageing.

The Tri-polar RF energy penetrates the skin layers to selectively heat the skin tissue and the extra-cellular matrix (ECM) where the collagen fibres are embedded. The local heating causes an immediate contraction of the collagen fibres and at the same time increase the metabolism of fibroblasts, thereby accelerating the production of new collgen and elastin fibres.

The contraction of collagen fibres and the regeneration of the collgen and elastin deposits tighten the skin layers creating smoother, healthier and younger looking skin.
